Crickhowell in Downing Street

Our Chair of Trustees, Dean Christy represented Crickhowell at the Saint David’s Day Reception in Downing Street.  He met the Prime Minister and The Welsh Secretary and spread the word about the town’s achievements with The Corn Exchange, the Great British High Street campaign and now The Clarence Hall project.

DIRTY VEGAN COMES TO CRICKHOWELL

Another packed night for The Clarence Hall when Book-ish Bookshop brought Dirty Vegan Author, Matt Pritchard of Dirty Sanchez fame to town.  250 people packed into the Hall to hear Matt tell Lynne Albutt tales of pranks, hyper-fitness and Veganism.  And he signed hundreds of books, too.

The campaign to breathe new life into Crickhowell’s iconic Clarence Hall received a further boost when it was announced that Dame Shân Legge-Bourke, recently retired Lord Lieutenant of Powys, had agreed to become its Patron.
