The Clarence Hall has a simple-to-use audio-visual system for showing films on DVD and making presentations on stage using the built-in PA system. There is also a more comprehensive mixing desk situated at the rear of the main hall with a direct line of sight to the stage – making it suitable for mixing theatrical and musical performances. The hall has a complete lighting rig for on-stage performances, with the recent addition of U’King LED lights; colour-wash can be accessed through the dimmer board. Users also have access to a specialist lighting and sound engineer, if required.
