The Clarence Hall was filled with warmth and melody this weekend as Crickhowell Choral Society presented A Celebration of the Land of Song as part of the opening weekend of the Celtic Roots Festival.
A brand-new celebration of Celtic heritage has arrived in Crickhowell! The Celtic Roots Festival 2025 is taking place this week, bringing an exciting mix of concerts, talks, pilgrimages and community events to venues across the town. Organised by the Friends of St Edmund’s and St Catwg’s, the Festival is already creating a wonderful buzz as people come together to celebrate faith, culture and creativity in true Celtic spirit.
The Clarence Hall was filled with feel-good energy this afternoon as Ian Cooper and Uskulele returned to Crickhowell with a lively rock and pop set that had the audience singing along from the first chord to the final note.
Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band lit up the Clarence Hall last night with an outstanding performance that had everyone on their feet. Their high-energy set blended classic hits with irresistible rhythm and powerhouse vocals – a true celebration of timeless soul music.
