Alternatively, the Clarence Hall Volunteers can operate a bar for your event, with all proceeds supporting the Hall’s funds.  Please note that in these circumstances, the bar hire fee is waived.

Deposits:

Bookings charged at hourly rate: £25

Other events: £100

All deposits must be paid within the timeframe stipulated by the Bookings Team to confirm the booking.  Deposits will be deducted from the final invoice, providing the building and facilities are left in a satisfactory condition.  They will be offset against additional expenditure incurred by the Hall, such as extra cleaning and rubbish disposal.

Booking process (from 1 April 2026):

Please use the online booking system for initial enquiries and booking requests.  If this is not possible, please contact the Bookings Team at bookings@clarencehallcrickhowell.org.uk.  We will be happy to discuss your requirements.

If available, your reserved date will be held for two weeks and confirmed upon receipt of your completed booking form and deposit (if required).

Please note:  Your booking will only be finalised once the Bookings Team have received all the required information.

Document update & rate review:

These hire rates were updated in March 2026 to reflect the introduction of the Hall’s revised booking system in April 2026.

The current rates have remained largely unchanged since May 2023, although minor updates have been made to reflect operational changes within the Hall.

A review of hire charges is planned during the 2026-2027 financial year and some adjustments are expected, although the details of any increase have not yet been finalised.  Any revised rates will be communicated to hirers in advance and will apply only from the date specified in the updated schedule.
