Crickhowell Community Band at The Bear

A huge thank you to Crickhowell Community Band for their set of Christmas favourites at The Bear last night and for the collection in aid of the Clarence Hall.

Ebbw Valley Brass Shine

An appreciative audience enjoyed a warm and atmospheric evening as Ebbw Valley Brass returned to the Clarence Hall with their Christmas Concert, featuring the St Mary’s Church in Wales Intergenerational Choir as special guests.

Christmas at the Clarence is shaping up to be one of our busiest and most festive yet. From concerts and comedy to community meetings, workshops, wellness sessions, fairs, a visit from Santa and even wrestling, the Hall is full of life this season.

Santa Appeal 2025

Powys Children’s Services and Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau have launched this year’s Santa Appeal, collecting gifts to brighten Christmas for children who may otherwise go without.

Crickhowell Walking Festival 2026

Each March, the Crickhowell Walking Festival brings walkers of all abilities to explore the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog and Black Mountains. As part of the programme of evening events, the Clarence Hall is delighted to be hosting a fascinating event with mountaineer Tim Kington.
