June at the Clarence

Posted: 1st June 2026

Always at the heart of the community, the Clarence Hall is set for another busy month ahead!

June’s highlights include Night of Heart & Harmonies, a fundraising concert in aid of North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation and Aftercare Charity featuring Tredegar Orpheus Male Voice Choir with special guests Stephanie Webber and Clara Phillips; two screenings of the People’s Emergency Briefing exploring the latest evidence on climate and nature; an Open Day with Llangattock Green Valleys focusing on community energy and environmental initiatives; a return visit from British Kingdom Pro Wrestling; and Theatre AdHoc’s latest comedy, The Haunting of Soddington Hall.  Monthly Bingo and the ever-popular Persian Rug Sale also return to the Hall during the month.

Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau continue to host their regular programme of activities, including Line Dancing, Knit & Natter, The Painting Room, Luncheon Club, Chess Club, Memory Lane Club and Neck & Shoulder Massage sessions, providing opportunities for friendship, creativity and support throughout the month.

All this, alongside the monthly U3A meeting, Dance Beats classes, Cantorion Phoenix rehearsals, ESOL classes and other community activities that help make the Clarence Hall such a vibrant place.
