Beaufort raises the roof
Posted: 7th September 2026A packed house welcomed Beaufort Male Choir to the Clarence Hall this weekend, for an evening of music in aid of Parkinson’s Disease and Prostate Cancer charities.
One of Wales’ oldest male voice choirs, Beaufort presented a varied programme ranging from traditional Welsh favourites to modern classics. The choir was joined by soloists Angela Lloyd-Davies, Conor O’Leary and Callum Rees.
The concert came as Welsh male voice choirs enjoy renewed attention following the launch of Voices of the Valleys on Sky Arts. Beaufort is among those featured in the three-part series, which celebrates this important part of Wales’ musical heritage.
Presented by Crickhowell & District Fundraising Group, the event continued its longstanding programme of concerts supporting hospitals and healthcare charities across the region.
Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to all those who attended and helped to raise funds for two important causes.
