Musical Tea

On Sunday, 12 October at 2.30pm, the Clarence Hall will host a special afternoon of music.

The Wales Recorder Orchestra, conducted by Caroline Jones and Lyndon Hilling, will present a varied programme of music ranging from the 17th century through to contemporary works, showcasing the versatility and charm of the recorder family.

Adding to the occasion, the orchestra will be joined by Eleri Darkins, renowned performer of the Welsh triple harp, whose playing brings a distinctive and evocative sound deeply rooted in Welsh tradition.  Together, the programme promises both variety and beauty, appealing to lovers of early music as well as those with a taste for the rich musical heritage of Wales.

Alongside the music, guests will be treated to afternoon tea, making this a sociable event as well as a cultural one!

Admission: £5 for adults, £1 for students, with free entry for children under 11.   Tickets available from Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau at the Clarence Hall or from Orchestra Members.
