A busy 2023 ahead!

2023 is shaping up to be a busy year for the Clarence Hall!

The first few months see local legends Ryland Wallace and John Webb presenting a fascinating talk on Crickhowell 1952-1970 – the recollections of two lifelong inhabitants; Crickhowell & District Players taking to stage with Aladdin, a traditional pantomime for all the family; Theatre Adhoc performing a new Welsh Valleys Comedy ‘Whose coat’s that jacket?’ by Abertillery playwright Julia Lewis; and the return of the Black Mountains Comedy Festival, showcasing a mix of well-known comedians and rising stars as well as a Saturday full of fun for families.

All this, alongside our regular Lunchtime Recital Programme, Bingo evenings, Persian rug sales, ESOL classes, U3A meetings, Dance Beats classes and Crickhowell Choral and Cantorion Phoenix rehearsals.

Work is also continuing on the Hall’s redevelopment, with the initial focus on the new multifunction entrance.
