A busy time ahead!

Posted: 2nd February 2024

Always at the heart of the community, the Clarence Hall is set for a busy few months!

February sees with the return of the Black Mountains Comedy Festival, showcasing a mix of well-known comedians and rising stars as well as a Saturday full of fun for families; an evening with author Jasper Fforde when he will discuss his highly anticipated new book Red Side Story; and a lunchtime recital with EOS, a talented wind quintet.

March continues with Crickhowell High School returning to the Clarence Hall with their performance of Grease; an event to celebrate the launch of the Crickhowell District Archive Centre’s latest publication – Great Houses of Crickhowell; a spectacular evening of musical entertainment with the talented young musicians from Piano Orchestra South Wales, who are fundraising for their October trip to Paris; and the return of the Vintage, Antique & Makers Market, organised by Mischievous Cow Events.

All this, alongside our regular Bingo evenings, Line Dancing classes, Persian rug sales, ESOL/English for Speakers of other Languages classes, U3A meetings, Dance Beats classes and Cantorion Phoenix rehearsals.
