A glorious finale!
Posted: 6th May 2025The Crickhowell Music Festival came to a memorable close on Bank Holiday Monday with an exceptional recital by renowned tenor James Gilchrist and pianist Anna Tilbrook at the Clarence Hall.
Their performance was a masterclass in musical storytelling — intelligent, emotionally rich, and delivered with effortless grace. Gilchrist’s expressive clarity and Tilbrook’s sensitive, responsive accompaniment revealed the depth of their long-standing partnership and held the audience in rapt attention.
It was a fitting finale to this year’s festival: a reminder of music’s enduring power to move, connect and transform.
