A Packed House for Hayseed Dixie

Saturday night at the Clarence Hall was something special.  A packed house, a buzzing atmosphere and a gig that delivered from the first chord to the final note as Hayseed Dixie brought the Welsh leg of their 2026 tour to Crickhowell.

Famed for their high-octane bluegrass reworkings of rock classics, the band combined impressive musicianship with an assured stage presence that carried the evening effortlessly. The playing was tight and full of character and the crowd responded in kind – singing along, clapping enthusiastically and clearly relishing the night.

Support came from The Fargo Railroad Co, whose rich Americana sound and confident performance set the tone perfectly.

With a full hall, two strong acts and an audience determined to enjoy every minute, it was one of those shows that reminds you why live performance matters.  A brilliant evening that won’t be forgotten in a hurry!
