A toe-tapping performance from Uskulele!

Posted: 9th October 2022

The Clarence Hall’s Lunch-time Recital Programme is a series of events designed to encourage live music performances in Crickhowell, with an emphasis on accessibility and easy listening.

The series is sponsored by the Clarence Hall for the community.  Admission is free but there is a collection for the Clarence Hall Refurbishment Appeal for those who wish to donate.

The most recent performance, on 8 October, saw the first concert by local Ukulele Band – “Uskulele”.  These talented musicians delighted the audience with their choice of musical numbers – ranging from Edelweiss, to Sway, to Bad Moon Rising, to Sunny Afternoon and finishing off with All My Loving.

There was a great deal of foot tapping and singing along to the songs from an audience with members aged from two upwards, and it is certainly hoped that Uskulele will return in the not too distant future.

The next Lunch-time Recital is on Saturday, 19 November and features a return visit by Black Mountains Recorders.
