An evening with Charlie Thould

Posted: 4th May 2026

The Clarence Hall welcomed Charlie Thould back on Saturday evening for his second fundraising concert, following the success of last year’s performance.

Joined by fellow performers from the Emil Dale Academy, Charlie presented a varied programme of musical theatre favourites, with solos, duets and ensemble numbers from well-known shows and films including Kinky Boots, The Little Mermaid and Les Misérables.

The evening combined lively pieces with more reflective moments, giving the audience a mix of music and performance. Family, friends and supporters filled the Hall, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere throughout the concert.

Now 17 and continuing his training at the Emil Dale Academy, Charlie organised the event to help raise funds towards the cost of his ongoing studies.

It was an enjoyable evening of musical theatre and another encouraging step in Charlie’s developing performance journey.
