Celebrate Summer at Crickhowell Garden Show
Posted: 27th July 2026The Crickhowell Flower, Veg & Craft Show returns to the Clarence Hall on Saturday, 15 August, bringing together some of the very best of local gardening, baking, crafts, photography and creative talent for a day that has become a highlight of the town’s summer calendar.
Now in its 48th year, the Show continues to welcome exhibitors of all ages and experience. Whether you’re an accomplished grower, an enthusiastic baker, a keen photographer or simply fancy having a go for the first time, there are classes to suit everyone. This year’s schedule includes flowers, vegetables, fruit, preserves, baking, handicrafts, photography, children’s classes and a number of light-hearted “Just for Fun” categories, ensuring there’s something to inspire every visitor.
Visitors can explore the exhibits from 12 noon until 5.00pm, with judging taking place earlier in the day. Admission is just £1, making it an affordable afternoon out for the whole family.
A special feature of this year’s Show will be a flower arranging demonstration at 2.30pm by Fran from La-Di Dardy Flowers. Fran will demonstrate how to create An Artisan Bouquet from the Garden, offering ideas and inspiration for using seasonal flowers and foliage. The demonstration is included with Show admission, with donations welcomed in support of local charities and community groups.
Refreshments will be available from 2pm-4pm, including traditional cream teas served on vintage china, with cream teas priced at £4.50 and tea and scone or tea and cake available for £2.00. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax in the Hall’s Atrium while enjoying everything the Show has to offer.

Entries close at 5.00pm on Wednesday, 12 August, with exhibits staged between 4pm and 6pm on Friday, 14 August or between 8.00am and 9.30am on the morning of the Show.
