Celtic Roots Festival Opening Concert
Event Date: 26/10/2025The Celtic Roots Festival is a new event in celebration of the rich Celtic heritage woven into the life of this part of Wales. Organised by the Friends of St Edmund’s and St Catwg’s churches in Crickhowell and Llangattock, the festival brings music and tradition to the heart of our community.
Join us on Sunday, 26 October at 3pm for the Opening Concert which will celebrate the Land of Song. Featuring Crickhowell Choral Society, harpist Rose Graham and soprano Eve Carey, this Celtic Welcome will include Haydn’s Choruses from The Seasons and arrangements of traditional Welsh folk songs.
Admission is free with a retiring collection. All welcome. Refreshments will be available.
