A Welcome Return: Charlie Thould in Concert
Posted: 23rd April 2026Charlie Thould returns to the Clarence Hall next month for a second fundraising concert, building on the success of last year’s sold-out performance.
Many will remember that first concert, when the Hall was filled to capacity with a wonderfully supportive audience. It was an evening that not only showcased a remarkable young performer, but also reflected the quiet strength of encouragement that runs through this area — people coming together to support one of their own.
Now 17 and continuing his musical theatre training at the Emil Dale Academy, Charlie is building on that momentum with a brand new programme. This year’s concert promises a fresh mix of music alongside appearances from guest performers, creating what is set to be another enjoyable and uplifting evening.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 2 May at 7pm at the Clarence Hall, offering another opportunity to support Charlie as he continues to develop his talent and pursue his passion for performance. As with last year, proceeds from the evening will go directly towards the cost of his training.
Reflecting on last year’s event, Charlie spoke about just how much the support meant to him — performing to a full Hall, surrounded by familiar faces, was both encouraging and inspiring, and has helped to shape his journey over the past year.
Tickets are £10 and can be booked via Linda Swanson on 07393 296375 or by email at swansonlm@aol.com.
