Posted: 16th April 2025

Crickhowell Open Studios returns this Spring Bank Holiday Weekend (24–26 May), offering the perfect opportunity to explore the town and its vibrant arts scene. Across numerous venues, visitors can experience the creativity that Crickhowell and its surroundings inspire, with a diverse range of artists showcasing their work.

Organised by Suzette Pratten and the team at the Crickhowell Resource and Information Centre, alongside volunteers and participating artists, the event brings together more than 300 creatives. Studios, galleries and pop-up collectives will open their doors, providing a chance to discover and collect affordable, original artwork.  The venues themselves are wonderfully varied — ranging from artists’ homes and workspaces to dedicated studios, cafés, churches and galleries. Each location offers a unique atmosphere and a warm welcome, ensuring an inspiring experience. Whether you leave with a new piece of art, sign up for a workshop, or simply enjoy the creative energy, you’re sure to be captivated by the event.

Once again, Clarence Hall will be hosting Torfaen Arts, a collective of both amateur and professional artists from the Torfaen area. Their exhibition promises to be a highlight of the weekend, offering a diverse and engaging showcase of artistic talent.  Be sure to pop in and explore their latest works.

At its heart, Crickhowell Open Studios celebrates the quality and diversity of artists and makers in the region. It’s a chance to immerse yourself in the local creative scene while enjoying all that Crickhowell and the surrounding area have to offer.

Join us for a weekend of inspiration, discovery and artistic delight!
