Crickhowell Walking Festival 2026

Posted: 3rd March 2026

Each March, the Crickhowell Walking Festival brings walkers of all abilities to Crickhowell to explore the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog and Black Mountains.

With more than 80 guided routes on offer, including new additions, family-friendly options, night walks and the popular TM5 Challenge, it has become a much-loved fixture in the local calendar.  Booking is now open and the full programme can be viewed at https://www.crickhowellfestival.com/

Alongside the walks, the Festival features a programme of evening events and this year, the Clarence Hall is delighted to host one of them.

On Saturday, 7 March, mountaineer and photographer Tim Kington and LOWA will present Everest: It’s a Long Way Back Down, sharing an engaging and down-to-earth insight into what it’s really like to climb the world’s highest mountain.  See the poster below for more information.

We look forward to welcoming Festival visitors to the Hall and hope you enjoy all that this year’s programme has to offer!
