David Lewis, a musical play

Event Date:

David Lewis is a Victorian Melodrama based on local events from the mid 1800s.  Join us for this fascinating production by Crickhowell Pantomime Society at 7.00pm on Friday, 30 September and Saturday, 1 October at the Clarence Hall.

The idea for the play came from the names of offenders on a list for the Brecon Quarter Sessions in 1853; their crimes and punishments are the basis of the story. Further research into the lives of the working classes of Crickhowell from 1830 onwards helped to formulate the script.

Entry is free, but to book a seat please leave a message on 01873 811293.

This performance is part of the series of events being organised throughout 2022 by the Clarence Hall and Crickhowell Town Council for the Crickhowell Community.
