Festive fun at the Hall

Posted: 13th December 2025

The Clarence Hall was full of warmth and good humour today as Uskulele, led by Ian Cooper and Cantorion Phoenix, led by Dian Winter, brought a relaxed and cheerful burst of festive music to a winter lunchtime.  With a welcoming mix of familiar carols and seasonal tunes, the event had an inclusive feel that invited smiles, toe-tapping and the occasional sing-along.

Adding to the atmosphere was an impressively eclectic selection of Christmas jumpers and hats, along with a steady supply of banter and jokes that only added to the charm. It was exactly the kind of informal, good-natured occasion that makes the Hall such a special place to gather at this time of year.

Huge thanks to everyone who performed, to our fabulous soloists and to our volunteers who kept the refreshments flowing.

And thank you to those who came along to listen, support and share in a little festive cheer — a lovely way to mark the season together.
