Fundraising Update – £10,000 to go!
Posted: 9th February 2022Over the last few months, we have made tremendous progress with our appeal to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Clarence Hall. We now need to raise just £10,000 to reach our target of £95,000 and secure the £100,000 grant we have been awarded by The National Lottery Community Fund!
Our Supporters Board (shown below) is displayed in the Hall Foyer and recognises everyone who has given over £100 to our cause. Due to the generosity of our supporters, we will be able to implement a refurbishment programme that delivers on the Community Consultation undertaken in 2020.
Phase 1 of the redevelopment will include: a new and upgraded kitchen; new toilet facilities; a new disability access toilet incorporating a baby changing area; a small bar; and an accessible entrance into the hall with ramped access from the A40 and car park.
There are several ways to contribute. Either donate in person at CRiC and Cashells or online via JustGiving– https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/clarencehall. If you would rather pay by bank transfer, please contact us on clarencehallcomms@gmail.com.
