A “Perfick” Evening

Posted: 27th June 2024

The talented Theatre Ad Hoc returned to the Clarence Hall this week with their excellent production of “The Darling Buds of May”.

The group has long been known for its innovative productions, and their latest venture was no exception.  Bringing H.E. Bates’ beloved novel to the stage, this performance transported the audience to the idyllic Kent countryside, capturing the charm of the Larkin family, with the exuberant Pop Larkin and his warm-hearted wife, Ma, at its core.

With Theatre Ad Hoc’s dedication to excellence and passion for storytelling, this timeless treasure was “perfick” in every way.
