Llangattock Green Valleys – Update
Posted: 28th August 2024Join Llangattock Green Valleys at the Clarence Hall on Saturday, 14 September for an update on the Community Energy Project.
In the last few months, the team has been busy taking opinions from our local communities, collating information from the community maps and are now ready to move onto the next stage. They’ll shortly be conducting a feasibility study, where they will be working with organisations who can help guide them in using the information provided, start to put together the pieces, look at what can go where and discuss the timescales.
Obviously there are now some big questions and in order to be transparent, an event has been organised at the Clarence Hall where the team will share their findings and answer your questions. Llangattock Green Valleys will be joined by Our Food 1200/Ein Bwyd 1200 as well as the Community Transport Project, and so serve as a one-stop shop of groups making a difference in the Crickhowell area. If you, or anyone you know could benefit from any of these projects, please come along.
The event will run from 1.30pm to 4.00pm, with specific discussions being held at 2.00pm and 3.00pm to give plenty of opportunity for people to hear from the team directly about the future of our energy.
There is a great deal of information to share with friends and neighbours in the area, so please save the date and, if you can help spread the word to those in our community who are harder to reach, we would really appreciate it.
We’re looking forward to getting together to shape the future of Crickhowell for us and for generations to come. See you there!
