South Powys Youth Music Workshop
Posted: 25th July 2026Young people in school years 6–13 are invited to Nova Sessions, a fun and welcoming afternoon of singing at the Clarence Hall on Friday, 7 August.
Organised by South Powys Youth Music, this three-hour workshop will be led by Katie Truman-Williams, conductor of Evergreen Chorus, singing teacher and SPYM tutor. Participants will learn a selection of contemporary songs in rich, uplifting harmonies in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Whether you enjoy musical theatre, pop or simply love singing with others, Nova Sessions offers the chance to develop your vocal skills, make music with other young people and build confidence – with no auditions and no pressure.
The workshop runs from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and is open to all young people in school years 6–13, whether or not they are existing South Powys Youth Music members.
