Seasonal sparkle with Abergavenny Borough Band
Posted: 14th December 2025The Clarence Hall was filled with seasonal sparkle this weekend as Abergavenny Borough Band presented a joyful Christmas concert!
Alongside the Senior Band, the afternoon featured contributions from the Training Band and Junior Band, with younger players bringing enthusiasm to the programme. The concert also included a lovely contribution from Gilwern Primary School Choir, whose singing added warmth and colour to the telling of the Christmas story.
The music ranged from well-loved festive favourites to more reflective moments, offering something for all ages. Particularly special was the way the concert brought together players at different stages of their musical journey, highlighting the strength and encouragement found within the wider band family.
From toe-tapping favourites to moments that made you smile, it was an event that reminded us why live music matters, especially when it brings generations together on one stage.
