Tudor and Stuart Dance Workshop
Event Date: 22/05/2025Join us at the Clarence Hall on Thursday, 22 May from 10am-4pm for a Tudor and Stuart Dance Workshop, taught by Dr. Ann Hinchcliffe.
All are welcome to come to this community event, including recorder players and anyone who wants to try dancing. Recorder players will also be encouraged to dance!
This is a practical workshop giving you the chance to experience the dances of c.1550 to c.1650: Pavan, Galliard, the Measures, Almain, Courantes, French Branles and the Country Dance.
The event is supported by the Society of Recorder Players. Day £15.00, morning £10.00, afternoon £5.00.
