In ‘Hijacks and Hijacked: A Personal Experience’, Windsor will look back at the history of aircraft hijackings before sharing his own extraordinary experience of being held hostage for four days on a hijacked plane in the Middle East.
Born in Trecastle, Windsor was educated at Brecon Boys’ Grammar School and Aberystwyth University. His subsequent 35-year career involved extensive travel, taking him to more than 80 countries around the world.
Drawing on that international experience as well as his first-hand memories, his talk promises a fascinating personal perspective on a turbulent period in the history of air travel.
The meeting takes place at the Clarence Hall on Tuesday, 1 October, with arrival from 10.00am for a 10.30am start.
