Vice Versa with Theatre Adhoc

Event Date: 26/06/2025

The talented cast of Theatre Adhoc are returning to the Clarence Hall on Thursday, 26 June at 7.00pm with their performance of “Vice Versa”.

General Braggadocio is a pompous and lecherous bully who makes life miserable for all around him. His enslaved concubine and a quick-thinking servant join forces in a bid to escape his household and teach him a lesson he will never forget. With the help of a randy old magistrate, a mischievous pet monkey and an imaginary visitor from Greece, they play upon the General’s many vices and vanities as they attempt to regain their freedom and return home.

Loosely based on Miles Gloriosus by Plautus, Vice Versa is a madcap, farcical, feel-good comedy from multi-award-winning playwright Phil Porter.
