Volunteers’ Week 2023
Posted: 3rd June 20232023 marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), when thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognise the contribution volunteers make across the UK. With this year’s theme of ‘Celebrate and Inspire’, the initiative hopes to encourage people to get involved in volunteering in whatever way works for them.
Volunteers’ Week is supported by small grassroots organisations as well as larger, household-name charities, who together run hundreds of activities across the UK. The contribution of volunteers is often unseen and unrecognised by many, visible only through the incredible impact of their volunteering. Taking the time during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate their efforts and all they contribute to local communities has never been more important.
The Clarence Hall is fortunate to have a talented team of Trustees and other volunteers who generously give their time to support us in so many ways. Without their assistance, the Hall would not be in the position it is today – we are so grateful to you all!
