Volunteers’ Week 2026
Posted: 3rd June 2026Volunteers’ Week (1–7 June) is the UK’s annual celebration of volunteering, when thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognise the contribution volunteers make across the country.
Supported by small grassroots organisations as well as larger national charities, Volunteers’ Week highlights the many ways in which volunteers help strengthen and enrich their communities. Their contribution is often unseen and unrecognised by many, visible only through the difference it makes to the lives of others. Taking the time to celebrate their efforts and all they contribute to local life remains as important as ever.
The Clarence Hall is fortunate to have a talented team of Trustees and other volunteers who support us in so many ways. Volunteers’ Week provides an opportunity to recognise the efforts of those who give their time, skills and energy to help ensure the Hall remains a vibrant, welcoming place for everyone. Whether helping behind the scenes, supporting events, contributing specialist expertise or assisting with practical tasks, each plays an important part in the Hall’s success.
Without their commitment and generosity, we would not be in the position we are today. To all our volunteers, thank you.
