Rites of Passage

This May Bank Holiday, the Clarence Hall is pleased to host two key events within the Crickhowell Music Festival, as it returns for its 30th year with a rich and imaginative programme. Presented by Crickhowell Choral Society and running from 1–4 May, this year’s festival is shaped around the theme Rites of Passage.

A Welcome Return: Charlie Thould in Concert

Charlie Thould returns to the Clarence Hall next month for a second fundraising concert, building on the success of last year’s sold-out performance.

May Meeting – Llangors Beaver Project

Crickhowell U3A’s May gathering offers a fascinating glimpse into one of the UK’s most remarkable wildlife stories, as members and visitors come together at Clarence Hall. This month’s speaker, Colin Preece, will explore the reintroduction of beavers into British waterways and the powerful environmental impact they are making.

Elvis – Always on my Mind

On Saturday, 16 May, the Clarence Hall will host a special evening of music and entertainment – “Elvis – Always On My Mind”, featuring Darren “Graceland” Jones. This charity concert is organised by Suzan and Mike Alderton of Living with Dementia – a local society that continues to make a meaningful difference to the lives of those living with dementia and their families.

Vintage Market returns to Clarence Hall

The Clarence Hall is set to host another lively edition of Mischievous Cow’s Vintage & Makers Market on Saturday, 25 April, bringing together a fantastic selection of independent traders, artisans and local makers.
